Mission
Exoplazm connects gig organizers with artists who release on the platform. It's also a distribution portal for high-quality, Creative Commons-licensed psychedelic trance — following the path Ektoplazm carved.
We're a curated space. Not everything gets in.
Behind the Curtain
Exoplazm is run by Superv0id, an independent psytrance artist. His belief is simple: low-budget gigs still deserve live acts besides DJ sets. And producers who care more about music than self-promotion deserve a floor where their sound can be heard.
This site is his contribution to the scene. By day he works as a software development manager — AI has not taken his job yet. As long as people show up and his wallet allows, this portal stays open.
How It Works
Releases — Go to Apply and submit your album. If it meets our standards, it gets published. If not, we'll tell you what needs work. You can share your Exoplazm discography using the Artist filter. E.g. exoplazm.org/#music?artist=Superv0id
Gigs — Go to Apply and submit your event. If "Recruiting artists" is checked, we'll notify our artists who play the selected styles. Clean, complete submissions move fast.
Exoplazm does not take a fee. Terms are directly between artist and organizer.
Review times — Releases: within 7 days. Gigs: within 5 days. No response? Contact me at admin@exoplazm.org.
Updates — If you want to update a Release or a Gig, resubmit. As simple as that.
Follow — Go to Follow and pick an artist. You will be notified about their releases or gigs. Notifications go to your email. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Privacy — Your email will not be shared with the public. Emails are only shared between artists and gig organizers for event coordination.
Likes — We do not have likes. We measure popularity in downloads.
Content Standards
- Downloads are always lossless FLAC. Streaming defaults to high-bitrate OPUS for smooth playback; FLAC lossless available as an option.
- Professional mastering by a qualified engineer.
- Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 — sharing isn't stealing, it's the point. Artists must apply this license before submission.
Legal Requirements
Audio — All music must be 100% original and properly credited. You must own the rights to everything. No unauthorized remixes, bootlegs, mash-ups, or copyright-infringing samples.
Artwork — All artwork must be 100% original or composed of your own licensed/created elements. No unlicensed third-party images, characters, logos, or copyrighted graphics.
